A very nice person (Sarah, WV) dug out this cookbook and got the recipe for
me. I had the request posted at a different site as well. Here is the recipe,
for anyone who is interested...I highly recommend trying it!

I have this cookbook. Just found it after an extensive search.

FROSTED PEANUT BUTTER BARS

1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2 tsp.baking powder
1/4 tsp.salt

Frosting:

1/2 cup peanut butter
2-1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 cup milk

Combine peanut butter and butter until creamy. Add sugars, beating well.
Blend in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour,baking powder and salt; spread
in greased, 13x9x2-in. pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool.

Frosting: Combine peanut butter, confectioner's sugar, vanilla and milk.
Beat well. Spread evenly over cooled bars.
