2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1 Tsp Double-Acting Baking Power
3/4 Tsp Salt
1 Cup Vegetable Shortening

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening until blended. Store in airtight container in cool dry place.

2 Eggs
2 1/4 Cups Packed Brownie Mix
1 Tsp Vanilla
1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts

Mix all together. Spread in greased 8 in. square pan.

Bake in a 350ƒF oven 30 to 35 min.

Cool in pan. Cut into 2 in. squares.

2 Eggs
1/4 Cup Water
2 1/4 Cups Brownie Mix -- Packed
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Vanilla
3/4 Cup Flour
walnuts or pecans

Mix all but nuts together. Drop onto greased cookies sheets put nut half on top.

Bake in 375F. oven for 10 to 12 min.

Remove at once from pans to rack to cool.
