OATMEAL JAM BARS
2 c. oats
1 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter or margarine
3/4 c. strawberry jam or
preserves
Thoroughly combine oats, flour, sugar, salt and butter.
Spread half of mixture in greased and floured 9-inch square
pan. Spread jam over dough. Sprinkle remaining dough over
jam, lightly patting with fingers. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30
minutes or until light tan color. Cool. Makes 24 bars (bars
firm when cool).
