Okay here goes! Very simple recipe, and my family loves it!
MACARONI AND BEEF SKILLET
2 lbs. ground beef 1 medium onion, diced small 2 tbsp garlic powder 2 tbsp good chili powder (I use McCormick brand) 2 cans (15 oz. each) crushed tomatos Salt and Pepper to taste 3 cups macaroni
In a large skillet place onion, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and beef; brown completely. Drain any excessive grease off.
Add canned tomatoes and chili powder (simmer).
In a seperate large pot fill with 8 cups of water or more. Bring water to a boil and I always add a tbsp of salt to the water to increase the roll of the boil. Add macaroni to boiling water cook till tender, don't over cook macaroni.
Drain macaroni and place meat mixture into pot of drained macaroni, mix well, cook on high for 5 minutes and serve.
We like it with some parmesan sprinkled on it.
Hope you like it! Let me know okay?!
