angel, La. (8:09:41 pm) : Creamy Pecan Pralines 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup evaporated milk 1/4 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup white sugar 2 tablespoons butter 1 cup pecans Combine sugars and milk. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Add butter, pecans, and vanilla. Mix completely and then do not stir anymore. Cook until temperature reaches 236 degrees (softball stage). Cool about 5 minutes. Beat until thickened. Pour out onto a well greased surface and allow to harden.
