The easiest and tastiest brisket recipe I have is:

On a double layer of foil place brisket. Top with 1 pkg onion soup mix and 3-4 TBSP ketchup. Fold foil to enclose and bake at 350 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Remove from foil and slice thin on an angle. Save juices to serve au jus or to make gravy, as desired. If prefered bake as above and then rewrap sliced beef in a single layer of foil and refrigerate. Can then be served the next day by reheating at 350 for about 1 hour. I like to do this when I'll be having company and then I don't have to spend the entire day in the kitchen and I have more time with my guests.

Hope this helps and if you try it, I hope you like it. I always get rave reviews.
