Here's another recipe for old fashioned bread pudding:
10 slices of bread, diced 4 eggs 1 quart of milk 1 tbs of vanilla 1 medium jar of fruit cocktail, drained (optional) 2/3 cup of sugar cinnamon
Place diced bread in a 13 by 9 pan, sprayed with Pam. Beat eggs, milk, sugar and vanilla. Pour over bread. Add drained fruit cocktail and mix all together. Sprinkle top with cinnamon. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour or until custard is set...check with toothpick for doneness. |
