This recipe was posted by leeza on 7/30/98 on the Message Board. I used it to top the Snickers Cheesecake I made. It was very good.

YUMMY FUDGY TOPPING
12 ounce bag of chocolate chips, semi-sweet
1 C heavy cream

Microwave the cream 1 minute till steamy, pour in the chips and let it set for about 1 minute more. Stir the chips and cream together until perfectly smooth (use a wire whisk). Microwave the mixture 15-20 seconds more if not smooth. DO NOT SCORCH IT.

This topping is thick and fudgy and can be used for ice cream, sundaes, banana splits or peanut butter pies or whatever. It keeps very well in a glass jar in the refrig. If too thick, place the jar in hot water and stir mixture.
