Lexie, I was thrilled to see your response to my message about the Chocolate Gravy. My children love it! In my constant battle to make them eat right and provide a balanced diet for them it is fun to "shock" them with chocolate for breakfast. If available in you area, chocolate extract makes a richer flavor. I use to use "Kroger Brand" (no longer available), Watkins has a wonderful "chocolate extract". Just add a couple of drops of that & approx. 1 tsp. vanilla after removing from heat. And, if needed, use hand mixer to get smoother gravy. Thanks for your confidence. Another note: If you want a little "tid-bit" about biscuits? I use, when in a hurry "Bisquick" following the Basic Biscuit Recipe, add 1 heaping Tbls. mayonaise and 1 heaping Tbls. sour cream to recipe. Knead, but not alot, just enough to handle without being sticky. The more you knead biscuits the tougher they are. The extra additions make a richer tasting biscuit & a bit lighter texture. Just a note. Thanks again! Janie
