Hi Donna; I don't mind a bit that you sent Old Glory to everybody. That's why I posted it here, so all of you could read it and pass it along if you cared to. My Hubby is a retired air force officer and the Old Glory story was passed along to us by one of the gentlemen he graduated with from Cadets in 1955. This gentleman has in the past six months or so been able, thanks to the internet, to find 62 of the 67 men who graduated together. Of that 62 some have died or were killed in Vietnam. The remainder are planning a reunion in Nashville this Oct. As an air force family if there's one thing we feel very strongly about, it's that beautiful symbol of freedom we fondly refer to as OLD GLORY. |
