We really like this recipe. It's good served over rice.
BEEF IN BEER
2-1/2 to 3 lb. round steak, cut into 1-1/2" cubes 1/3 c. flour (or more if needed) 1 envelope onion soup mix 1 envelope brown gravy mix 1 - 12 oz. can beer*
In plastic bag, shake flour with round stead. Empty meat into slow cooker. Add onion soup mix, brown gravy mix and beer. Stir to coat meat with liquid. cover and cook on low for about 8 hours. Garnish with dillweed, if desired.
*I use 6 oz. beer and 6 oz. water--you could use beef broth instead.
