Hi everyone,

With this hot weather, this juice drink really hits the spot! I got the recipe from one of my all-time favorite restaurants. (You don't even have to try very hard to get this recipe, either--just act interested, and your server will whip out a card with this recipe! Definitely my kind of restaurant! :-) ) Oh, this drink is LUSCIOUS!!! At the end, I have a few notes.

LeConte Sunrise Juice

2 cups orange juice
2 cups apple juice
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1 cup capped strawberries
3 bananas

Blend all ingredients in food processor. Place in freezer until almost completely frozen. Re-blend and serve. Serves 6.Clarissa's Notes:
I strongly suggest you make this in 2 batches, because when I made this in my Cuisinart, juices started flowing out of the bottom of the bowl before I even started processing! Quite the MESS!! But after I caught it in another large bowl, and processed in 2 batches, I did not have a problem. So, just a word of caution!

There are not enough strawberries in their recipe, in my opinion. I increased the strawberries to a 16-oz. bag partially thawed, frozen whole strawberries. Think I will increase to 20-oz. next time.

Serve in elegant, long-stemmed glasses! The restaurant does, and this recipe deserves it!
