Fleigh,
One thing I'm learning is how not to wear myself out when company comes, and still have everything be special. I start with a beautiful breakfast table, (flowers). Usually we have a variety of bagels (very filling), with a variety of toppings, (store bought cream cheese) ,accomanpanied by a platter of fresh fruit, mellons, apple, nectarines, etc. Sometimes I like to add something al little sweet to go along, (a couple slices of pound cake).
Bagels can be frozen, fruit can be munched on in evening for a snack and cake can be frozen, so nothing goes to waste.
Hope this helps. Have a great time.
