A big THANKS to Elly, Holly and Ethel for trying to get me the recipe I was looking for. Holly's came closest to what I remember. Still wish I could find out which brand of cake mix put the recipe on their box.
PS: The Jane shown in the thread after my request is not me. In answer to her question, I think you could use any flavor cake mix and instead of chocolate chips, use nuts, coconut, m&m's or whatever you wished. I always made mine without additions and rolled them in sugar before baking. Quick & easy.
