Hi Elly, I went to store this morning after reading your recipe and bought a loaf of french bread. I never have made french toast, because it never sounded good to me with all that syrup and stuff but yours sounds sooooooooo good. My question is, should I let the french bread get a little stale.? It is very soft right now. Thanks, Pat
