I've made this "similar to cafeteria" pizza bread for years:

1 loaf French bread, cut in half horizontally

Spread with pizza sauce (or thick spaghetti sauce)
cooked sausage
any other pizza stuff you like

Top with a mixture of cheddar & mozzarella cheese

Sprinkle a bit of parmesan over

Broil until hot and cheese is melted

It smells sooooo good!

Can make on a French roll for just one serving.
