In case you want one with no beets here is one a freind gave me, i have eaten and they were very good.
2 TLBS. mild mustard 2 cups apple cider vinigar 1/2 cup water 1 cup granulated sugar 1 TLBS. Salt 1 TLBS. celery seed 1 TLBS. mustard seed 6 whole cloves 2 med. onions sliced 12 hard cookd eggs shelled
In a saucepan blend mustard with a little vinigar, add remaining vinigar, water & next 5 ingredients. cover heat to boil simmer 10 min. COOL Pour over onions and eggs. cover & refrig.. overnight. Serve on relish tray or as a sald add blue & red food coloring for purple eggs makes 12 eggs (like dugh!) page<
