Strawberry Muffins 2 1/2 cups flour 2/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced 1 cup buttermilk 1/3 cup margarine, melted 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla 1 egg, eaten 2 egg whites, beaten 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar Combine the flour with he sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add the sliced strawberries, stir well, and make a well in the center of mixture. Combine the buttermilk with the melted margarine, the vanilla and the egg. Pour into the flour mixture and stir until moistened. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden. Remove from pans immediately, let it cool on a wire rack. In Reply to: Request
