Funnel Cakes
2 cups milk 2 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 to 3 cups all-purpose flour Powdered Sugar
Mix milk, eggs, baking powder and salt into flour. The batter should be thin enough to pour through a funnel. If too thick, add milk. If too thin, add flour. Pour batter through funnel into hot fat - as deep as for doughnuts. Spiral and other shaped cakes are made by manipulating the funnel and controlling the spout with the finger. Remove cakes from oil and drain on paper towels, sprinkle with powdered sugar while hot. ( I've made these, and it takes just a little practice, but it's fun, real easy, and oh so delicious.)
