Peggy, I have used this method several times using swordfish steaks and salmon! It really turns out quite nice. I feel you get similar results when you steam the fish, however you cannot beat the theatrics of pulling your dinner out of the dishwasher! It always amazes my guests! Plus, there is less of a fishy smell in the kitchen when you prepare it this way!
