Obviously, Better Homes & Gardens has the current version of freezing eggs. Years ago my friends used to freeze eggs - first they'd separate yolks from whites. They would then put the whites in ice cube trays to freeze. Back then they'd put egg yolks in separate freezer trays and cover each yolk with water, and freeze them. These eggs were used strictly for baking or cooking.
One young woman got quite upset when she tried to make "sunny side up" eggs with these for her husband.
