Crock Pot Beef Stew I've made this a hundred times, at least.
2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into approximately 1-inch cubes 4 potatoes, chunked 1/2 lb. carrots, chunked Pepper, to taste 1 can cream of celery soup 1 can tomato soup Other vegetables as desired
Layer meat, potatoes and carrots in crock pot. Add other vegetables you like, if desired. Season with pepper. Mix together soups and pour over top.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
I usually stir in some frozen mixed vegetables for a little color. This doesn't need any added salt, since the soups contain plenty of salt.
