Hi,
This is something we love to have on waffles in the summer time:

FRUIT SALAD WITH HONEY LIME SAUCE

Combine:
2 cups MELON cubed
2 cups STRAWBERRIES halved
10 ounce can MANDARIN ORANGE SEGMENTS

Add and toss well:
2 med BANANAS sliced

Cover bowl and chill. To make dressing, in a saucepan, combine:
1/4 cup LIME JUICE
2/3 cup LIQUID HONEY
3 EGGS well beaten

Cook and stir over low heat until mixture comes to a boil and thickens. Cool. Fold in:
1 cup SOUR CREAM (or yogurt)
Chill. Makes 2 cups. Just before serving pour dressing over fruit; toss until fruit is well coated. Serves 6.

Of course it tastes best with the sour cream, sigh . . .

Also my husbands favourite expression is " . . . when it rains maple syrup." Love that stuff.
