Johanna, there ARE baked donuts! I just bought a pan for baked mini-donuts that I'm anxious to try, as soon as I find the recipe that came with it.
cmoc, I've tried the donut maker you describe, but still found the donuts too greasy...although my family did love them. I think the donut maker can be found at Target stores. Both items can be ordered from cookward catalogues.
