Hi,
Here are a couple of crab roll recipes, I haven't tried either one, but they sounded good.
CRAB ROLLS
1 egg
1 tsp. water
1/2 c. toasted bread crumbs,
crumbled real fine
2 Tbsp. grated onion
1 Tbsp. minced bell pepper
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
dash of garlic salt and celery
salt
black pepper to taste
2 c. crab meat
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
3 Tbsp. oleo, melted
3 Tbsp. flour
dash of salt
1/2 c. milk
Beat egg with water. Add bread crumbs, crumbled real
fine, onion, bell pepper, parsley, garlic salt, celery salt and
black pepper to taste. Stir. Add 2 cups crab meat. Mix and
add Worcestershire sauce. In a saucepan melt oleo. Blend in
flour and salt. Add milk. Cook over low heat, stirring
constantly until it forms a thick sauce. Cool, then stir into
crab mixture. Chill for several hours. Form into small oblong
rolls (about 3 inches long). Roll in cornmeal to coat and fry
until golden brown in hot oil. Drain on paper towels and
sprinkle with garlic salt. Serve with tartar sauce. Makes 24
rolls.
