I keep all the bread that isn't eat and i freeze it my daughter and son do the same. when we have enough bread gathered we make crumbs. I have the latge Cuisinart, we grind all the bread up and put into a large baking pan. i bake it in the oven 350' for about 2 hours. I go in and stir the bread every half hour or so. i can tell when it is at the driness i want. i remove it and let it cool. i then put it back into the Cuisinart and grind it until it is where i want it. if it needs more drying i put it back into the oven. if not... i bottle it in everyone personal container. what is left i freeze when it is unfrozen i put it into the oven for about 30 minutes to dry it out.
It works for us hope it works for you.
