SIMPLE CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES
Yield: 2 dozen
**You would do this first part, of course***
4 c Powdered sugar (yes, four cups!)
8 oz Cream cheese (one large package or 3 small packages less a nibble)
1 t Vanilla extract
5 oz Unsweetened chocolate
Assorted toppings
-(cocoa, powdered sugar, crushed nuts, jimmies,etc.)
Mix the powdered sugar into the softened cream cheese a little (2/3 cup) at
a time, making sure it is well blended after every addition.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and add it to the cream cheese
mixture along with the vanilla. Mix well. Chill for a couple hours.
**Have the children roll mix into one inch balls, then roll them in a topping. Chill.
