Hi Brenda, You saw these cookies mentioned at the Tried and True post. I got Nancy's recipe and there are 2 different ones. She was telling me she only used 1/2 of the flour in this recipe and it was even better. Here is the original. 2 Sticks butter, (room temp.) 2 lrg. eggs (room temp.), 2 cups sugar ( 1 brn., 1 reg., or 1-1/2 & 1/2 or ....) 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp other sodium ( she uses 1 1/2 baking powder, 1/2 baking soda), 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. spices,( she uses 1 1/2 cinnamon, 1/2 nutmeg) 2 tsp. extract (she uses 1 1/2 vanilla, 1/2 lemon), 2 cups all purpose flour, 2 cups oatmeal, 2 cups add-ins. ( 1 chips, 1 nuts, or ...) In blender/mixer start with the butter, whip until light and add eggs one at a time, the sugar 1/4 cup at a time, the the rest, one after another until you get to the add-ins. Do those by hand. Form into golf-ball size and put on tray in freezer for about 30 min. Bake on 2" centers for 10 to 12 min. at 350 until brown on the edges. The other is for Chocolate Chip cookies. She found it on the net Source: Mastercook Recipe Mailing List #886 11-6-97 I have it also if you are interested. She said she had not tried them so I'm presuming the ones above are the one's you were referring to in our discussion. Hope this helps. Happy cooking :-)
