12 apples, peeled and chopped
1 onion chopped
2 green peppers, seeded and chopped
1 cup sugar
2 cups cider vinegar
1 lemon, sliced thin and seeded
1 1/2 tsp.each salt and ground
ginger
1 cup seeded raisins
Combine all ingredients in a large
saucepan and cook for 2 hours, do
stir occasionally, until mixture is
thick. Spoon mixture into hot clean
sterilizied jars, seal, and cool.
Makes about 2 quarts.
