Corned Beef in the Crock Pot

Cook a 3 - 4 pound piece of corned beef for 7 to 10 hours on high or 10 to 14 hours on low in crock pot. I added the seasoning packet that comes with the meat and two cups of water and cooked it for just about seven hours on high and it was perfect--it weighed 4 lbs. exactly.

I don't usually cook my vegetables (potatoes, carrots, cabbage)in the crock pot. I take some of the cooking liquid out and dilute it with water and cook them on top of the stove.
