You can never go wrong with something simple like Baked Ziti. A quick version is to get cooked ziti, add jarred tomato sauce, a small container of Ricotta cheese and top with shredded mozzarella cheese and some grated Parmesane or Roman cheese. Cover and pop in oven until heated through and cheese melts. Serve with a green salad. It is also good to bring to someone in a hospital or to a church affair. Nearly everyone likes zitit. Another "quickie" is to make a TUna Casserole. Just take a pound of elbow macaroni (cooked) and mix with one can of cream of celery soup plus one can water. Add one cup french style string beans or 1 cup peas. Then add two cans all-white drained tuna in water. Mix well and top with shredded cheddar cheese. Pop in oven or micro until cheese melted. If you don't like tuna, try Swanson's canned white chicken meat or simply delete it and use both string beans and peas and have a veggie version!
Hope these help. Good luck in your new town!
