This was how my Mom always fixed her copycat version: MAID-RITE 2 lbs. very lean ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1 can chicken broth Break up ground beef in heavy saucepan or skillet. Combine with remaining ingredients and simmer all together until broth is cooked down and very little liquid remains. Serve over soft buns.
