Some pomegranate research (but no recipe!)

Some historians believe that the
pomegranate was the original forbidden
fruit in the Garden of Eden.

Its juice is a prized flavor enhancer
in Syrian cuisine because its sourness
is balanced by just the right amount
of sweetness. In the Middle East,
concentrated pomegranate juice perks
up foods when acidic ingredients such
as fresh citrus products are out of
season!

Sorry, I have just one recipe that
calls for hot & spicy lamb meatballs
baked in pomegranate sauce, but no
recipe for the sauce ;-(
