Fruit Pie
deep dish pie crust, baked or two 9" regular pie crusts, baked
1 can cherry pie filling 1 can crushed pineapple(same size can as pie filling-or close) 1/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. red food coloring 1 tbsp cornstarch 1 small box raspberry jell-o 4 or 5 medium bananas, sliced 1 cup nuts, chopped (optional) 1 tub Cool Whip
Cook pie filling, pineapple, sugar, food coloring & cornstarch until thick.
Take off stove, add jell-o & stir until dissolved. Cool. Add bananas nd nuts. Pour into pie crust(s). Cover with Cool Whip and chill.
My Mom has made this with a graham racker crust in a 9x13" cake pan. ut I am not sure if she then doubles the ingredients.
