I make a gallon at a time. I usually make mine at night, about an hour before bedtime, and it's ready for the next day. If I make a fresh jar at night, I won't run out during the day. If I make it in the morning, we have to wait for it to get done.

I fill a gallon jar or jug with HOT water. Add 6-8 regular size tea bags (Lipton), or 3 Large size. I let the bags hang over the top and put the lid on. You can let it sit out all night or refrigerate right away, and it's ready in the morning. It's always clear. If it's not strong enough adjust the amount of tea bags. Add your sweetener or lemon as you serve it.
