Hi I had trouble finding this, I posted way back. the trouble was that we all spelled it differently! I found Many other recipes here at tkl when I searched for "wonton" even when I did a short search at the top of this page, maybe tht will help you as well :) Page <>< just happen to think if I made these TODAY i would add some fresh mint ... have PLENTY round here! Here ya go mine from the archives: I used to make these a lot and had forggon about them. Problem is I never write things down and I just kinda made them up one day, when I needed to use up want ons and needed a dessert! Dessert Wontons I think that is about all thea t I did: cream cheese and powdered sugar mixed together. roll up, ends tucked and deep fry I would serve with chocolate sauce. After I made once I made again and again,wonder why i stopped? Rolling them is the trick you need to put jsut a little filling in them, it goes a long way, roll & tuck in the ends and use a little water to "seal" As you fry some of the filling will come out & thats oka but if you have many leak a lot you have probably overfilled. I used to bring them to pot lucks at church. Never heard of them in a resturant! good luck and thanks for reminding! page<>< When rolling have them it in front of you like a diamond and place filling aobut 1/3 up lay bottom corner over, fold in ends, roll on up. like a burrito.
