Jello Angel Food Cake 1 box (3 oz.) Jello (any flavor)
1 pkg. angel food cake mix
12 oz. Cool WhipPrepare cake mix as directed on package. Add 2/3 package of dry Jello to batter. Bake as directed on package. Put other 1/3 package Jello in 1/2 cup boiling water. Let set but not stiffly (should be a thin syrup). Mix syrup with Cool Whip. Frost cake (cooled). Refrigerate several hours before serving. Store in refrigerator. Holiday Angel Cake1 pkg. angel food cake mix 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored JelloFROSTING: 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip 1 (3 oz.) pkg. lime flavored Jello Maraschino cherries Prepare angel food cake according to directions on package. Fold gelatin into one-third of the batter. Alternately spoon batters into 10" tube pan. Zig-zag spatula through batters. Bake on lowest rack at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Cool completely. For Frosting: Dissolve the second package of gelatin in one cup boiling water. Chill until slightly thickened, blend in Cool Whip. Frost cake and garnish with cherry halves. Refrigerate until served.
