Cherry Crumb Cake Dessert
1/2 cup chilled margarine 1 box yellow cake mix 1 can cherry pie filling (or any flavored pie filling) 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts cool whip
In bowl cut margarine into cake mix to make pastry dough. Set 1 cup aside. Pat remaining crumbs onto the bottom and 1/2 inch up the sides of a greased 13x9 inch pan. Spread pie filling over crust. combine the nuts with the remaining crumbs, sprinkle over the top. Bake at 350* for 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm with cool whip.
