I guess to 'it's a matter of preference' I should have added 'it's a matter of location' too :-) I'd like to try your recipe - do you use green beans with some 'bean' to them - I assume you wouldn't use young tender beans - or maybe you do? Do you also cook beans this way if you were going to use them in a salad or just when serving as a hot dish?

If anyone else would like to share their favorite way with fresh green beans we'd hear from you.
