Hi Pat;
I just picked up a copy of Taste of Home Homemaker Schools magazine a few days ago. This recipe sounds really good and the picture shows quite a pretty presentation.
LAYERED PARTY SLAW
1 small head cabbage, shredded
1/2 medium head cauliflower, chopped
8 bacon strips,cooked and crumbled, (divided)
2 cups frozen green peas, thawed
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup sliced green onions
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/4 cups Marzetti slaw dressing (original or light)
2 medium tomatoes, cut into wedges
In a large clear glass serving bowl, layer vegetables and half of bacon in order given. Top with cheese, dressing and remaining bacon. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Garnish with tomato wedges just before serving.
