Terry, I'm always the one that's asked to bring salads to soirees and gatherings and the one that seems to be a big hig is antipasto salads.People don't really need a plate and most of it is finger food. I usually have olives, cheese wrapped in prochutto (sp) ham, asparagus wrapped in cheese, radishes, cherry tomatoes, italian hot pepper, marinated mushrooms, roasted red, green and yellow peppers all layed out on a bed of lettuce and drizzled with seasoned olive oil! |
