I remember this cake from when I was a kid and my mom used to make it. I remember it was yummy, but it's been years. Hope this is what you're looking for.
7-UP Cake
1 1/2 Cups Butter -- Softened 3 cups sugar 5 eggs 3 cups flour 1 tablespoon lemon extract 3/4 cups 7-Up®
confectioner's sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 325. Grease an angel food cake or bundt pan. Cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs, one at a time and mix until thoroughly combined. Fold in flour, lemon extract, and 7UP and mix well. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
