MOM SCHOEN"S LEG OF LAMB 6-7 Lb. leg of Lamb Celery Onions Romano Cheese Garlic Crisco Shortening or Oil
Make slits in leg of lamb. Stuff with chunks of celery, onions,garlic and Romano Cheese. Place in roasting pan, bottom covered with Crisco shortening or oil. Slice additional onions,celery and cheese and place around meat. May also quarter potatoes, as many as needed and place around meat. Cook uncovered 2 1/2 hours. Cover and cook 1 hour longer. Makes 6 servings
