Ann, I haven't made this yet - but plan to this weekend. Almost sounds to go to be true but Dawn and other's said it is delicious. Magic Peach Cobbler

1 Stick Butter or Margarine
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1 3/4 cup sliced peaches
1 cup sugar

Melt butter in 9x9 pan. In bowl mix together 1 cup sugar, the flour baking powder and milk. Pour over butter, but don't stir. Layer peaches and then remaining 1 cup sugar over this. Do Not Stir. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
