Fairy Food (Candy)

1 cup dark corn syrup
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon baking soda

Butter a 9x9 inch baking dish (or pan). Mix together corn syrup and vinegar in a saucepan. Boil without stirring until 300 degrees F. (don't leave it unattended). Remove from heat and mix in the baking soda. Pour into prepared pan. Cool until hardened. Break into pieces.
