I think that this is simply the term used when people fry eggs in hot bacon or sausage grease and instead of flipping the egg over...you sort of tilt the pan and with pancake turner flip the grease over and over the egg until the top portion is "basted" with the grease...It cooks the top of the egg resulting in an over easy type egg. Don't qoute me on it though..but this is what my grandma called it and how she showed me.
