Hi Gene...here is a repost of mine that I love...I add a little less ginger and a little more cayenne. I also sometimes add crushed red pepper...Can you tell I like it hot..But this is a basic recipe to start with..or do a search for sausage and you will find many wonderful recipes submitted... Good Luck!!Here is a basic recipe to which you can adjust the seasonings to your own taste:
Breakfast Sausage 2 pounds ground pork 2 ts white pepper 1/2 ts Mace 1 ts Salt 1/2 ts Ground Ginger 1 ts Rubbed Sage dash Nutmeg 1/4 ts thyme cayenne pepper to taste
Combine well chilled ground pork with seasoning. Shape into patties.
