Chocolate Banana Bundt Cake We never have banana bread anymore! I've been baking this for over ten years. A very homey receipe, people are always surprised how moist, delicious, and chocolatey it is. Enjoy Preheat oven 325 degrees Grease and flour (or cocoa) 12" bundt pan
Stir together and set aside: 1 1/4 c. flour (white or whole wheat pastry) 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. cocoa Beat together until creamy: 1/2 c. margerine 1 c. brown sugar - packed
add and mix well: 2 eggs 1 c. (3 mashed) banana
beat in flour mix
stir in 1 c. chocolate chips pour into prepared pan and bake 50 - 70 mins.
you can make a glaze of chocolate chips melted with butter and a little half and half, but it really doesn't need it. I usually dust it with powdered sugar just before serving. Great warm or room temp, it travels well in lunch sacks.
