These were very good and the meat just fell off of the bone.
1 large onion, chopped 1 tbl. olive oil 2 pounds lamb riblets 1 clove garlic, crushed 3 tbs. vinegar 3 tbs. lemon juice 2 tbs. brown sugar 1/3 cup chili sauce 1/3 cup ketchup 1/2 cup dry red wine 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. dried rosemary
DIRECTIONS:
Saute onion in olive oil until tender, but not brown. Remove onion and discard. Brown meat on all sides in oil.
Add remaining ingredients, cover and bring to boil. Simmer about 1 hour.
Place riblets on pan, spoon sauce over, broil until done.
NOTE: I put abut 1/4 of the onions in the sauce and we are garlic freaks so I used 3 large cloves of garlic.
