Try this one. I love it.
Steam the asparagus till bright green (after removing tough ends)
Cool to room temp and pour over it: 1/4 cup wine vinegar mixed with: 1 Tablespoon sesame oil Salt to taste. Optional: add up to two tsp. sugar to the vinegar first. Top with 1 Tablespoon toasted sesame seeds.
The sesame oil is very strong flavored and you can play around with using less, or mixing it with other oils to add up to one tablespoon. This can be served cold or room temp.
